They had a James Bond-a-thon on TV recently.  I was watching Thunderball and there was a scene where Sean Connery is in a health spa.  He grabs the very attractive masseuse and kisses her.  She fights him off, shoving him away.  When she does, she also reveals a pair of very hard nipples visible through her silky blue top, no doubt the result of her excitement at playing tongue hockey with Mr. Bond.

Harry Reems RIP

You may have read that actor Harry Reems passed away.  Sad news about a guy who brought so much joy to others from his acting in adult films.  Harry was 65 years young and living in Utah, working as a real estate agent until his death.  Interestingly unlike many other former porn actors, he was never ashamed of his past work or tried to hide it.  In fact, instead of trying to hide, he actually changed his legal name to Harry Reems!  Gotta love that!

He was best known as the costar of the famous 70's porn flick "Deep Throat".  It's said that he was working on set, trying to learn about film making and doing lighting.  The actor who was the original costar didn't show up and Harry stepped in.  From there he went on to star in hundreds of movies.  Harry got to fuck some of the most famous and desirable ladies in the industry including Marilyn Chambers and Ginger Lynn, two of my all time favorites.  He often played a goofy type character and something about him reminds me of Steve Martin the comedic actor, especially with that grey hair.

He was dragged through the mud during the 70's when the government tried to shut down the porn industry by bringing criminal charges against him for being involved in the distribution of porn.  He initially lost and was sentenced to jail, but later won on appeal.  Famous actors like Jack Nicholson backed him (hats off to Jack for that).  I wonder if the Oscars will acknowledge this pioneer of porn at next years awards and show his picture during the segment where they honor people who were lost in the last year?  He certainly deserves to be honored for all he went through.

It seems he lived a full and storied life.  I'm sure many a man would have loved to have been in his shoes during those days when he was working his way through the A-list of porn's most beautiful and famous ladies.  Here's to you Harry Reems, rest in peace!

Happy Monday Everyone!  Hope you all enjoyed a nice weekend.  There's one person in the Denver area who has discovered a way of enjoying himself in a way I hope my readers are not.  He does it by wearing a thong and exposing himself to women!

Happy Monday Readers!  Hope you all had a good weekend.  Mine was pretty busy.  I got to catch up with some friends that I hadn't seen in a while.  I also hit the mall., which can be trouble for someone like me!

I finally returned that padded bra I'd bought a few weeks ago.  I was a little torn because it was so low in cost.  I guess that was the bargain hunter in me!  Anyway, as I said in the original post about it, I just couldn't justify keeping something I wouldn't fully enjoy.  That padding is awful and couldn't make up for the cute design of the bra itself.  Better to use that space and money for something I really want, right?!

I also had a chance to check out VS and F21.  Didn't find anything at F21, lots of padded bras there too.  They did have some cute shoes, but I'm trying not to get into that too much as they really take a lot of room.  VS had some cute items, but I was able to resist.  I noticed a new sheer babydoll (pictured above) that I really liked, but it wasn't on sale so I skipped it.  It was $43, not super expensive, but more than I wanted to spend right now.  I do have designs on getting it at some point though, sale or not.  Sometimes you just have to splurge a little to get exactly what you want.   Anyway, it was really cute in person and very eye catching.  It comes with a matching thong panty too, not that it's anything special.  I love the ruffles and the sheer material, so girly and cute!

Happy Friday Everyone!  Hope you all had a great week!  It's been pretty busy for me as always, but a good week none the less.

Agent Provocateur

I recently had the pleasure of visiting an Agent Provocateur boutique.  The experience was a pleasant one for sure.  The store was small and well decorated.  It felt posh and Victorian.  There were two ladies working there, only one spoke to me, offering assistance if I needed it.  I told her I was just browsing.  She was helpful but not pushy.  She asked me if I knew about the history of the company and told me little about it.  It seems AP was the brainchild of Joseph Corre, son of British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood (who is credited with bringing modern punk and new wave fashion to the mainstream).

The store itself had a wall of items on display, each on a wire frame mannequin.  The saleswoman explained that the display items were all of one size, but that different sizes were available and would be brought out at my request.  The items were as exquisite as I'd imagined and hoped.  Beautifully designed and brought to life with wonderful details and quality.  Of course all this comes at a price and the items are very expensive, putting the likes of VS to shame price wise.

I'm not sure what the ladies in the store thought of me.  I was the only one in there besides them.  They were very pleasant though.  The saleswoman handed me a glossy catalog before I left, telling me that there were staple items and seasonal items.  I'm thinking it'd be good to buy something seasonal since these are probably only available for a short time.  I checked the price tags and at least one bra was $180, no small sum.

I will return when money allows (or I am overcome with lingerie lust) to purchase some things.  Of course I will have to have someplace special to store these things as I wouldn't want them to get ruined at that price!

Thievery

Hola Readers!  Can you believe it's already the start of a new month?  Ready for your weekend?  Yeah, me too!  I was watching Jimmy Kimmel the other night and he ran a story about a man from Michigan who had his porn collection swiped.  The thieves took three TV's and his adult film collection that was valued at $7500.  He said he had vintage movies that are no longer available.  I can totally relate.  Unlike mainstream movies and TV, a lot of vintage stuff is disappearing or is long gone.  Even the movies from the 90's will be harder and harder to find because of the lower definition video that is out of vogue and doesn't look very good on new TV's.

I've talked about some of my favorite vintage porn classics here on the blog in past posts.  Surprisingly, there must not be much of an audience for such things, since many of the biggest titles from the past are not remastered or available in high def.  A shame really, because if someone had the original films on celluoid they could be converted over to high definition.  I'm sure the movies exist in some buff's collection, but those people probably don't have the rights to make such conversions and distribute them.

On my wish list would be any of the Marilyn Chambers films, Insatiable at the very top of that list.

Hot for Teacher

Hola Readers!  It seems the hottie pictured today is a high school math teacher by day.  She got into some hot water after someone found her twitter account where she'd posted some risque, but very cute pics of herself and talked a little about having pot in her car when the cops were searching kids for drugs or something.

Anyway, just wanted to say cheers to you math teacher; don't let "the man" bring you down or squash that inner naughty girl in you!  I hope things go well for you.  Oh and if they had a teacher as hot as you in my high school, I might have flunked a grade on purpose!

Recently, I've been toying with the idea of subscribing to an online porn site.  There are so many out there that you could easily spend your entire paycheck on internet porn every month.  The sites range from low budget poorly made raunchy stuff to high quality, art level photography and video footage.  Each genre has it's appeal, from the gritty, street level bad girls to the classy women you'd never even expect to see doing nasty things.  There really is something for any fetish or taste out there.

Since I'm not completely insane, I don't want to spend every penny I earn on porn, but I do want to check out one or two sites.  I haven't decided yet what I want to see, but I do have a few candidates in the running.

Advise for Lingerie Gift Recipients

Interestingly, I found an article on Yahoo that reiterates many of the things I mentioned in my last post regarding the purchase of lingerie for that girl in your life.  It's definitely worth a look.  While I know that giving lingerie can be a loaded gift, I must say that some of the comments they quote at the end of the article sound a bit jaded.  Reading those qoutes made me think that perhaps I needed to address the other side of the coin too; the ladies who are receiving those gifts of lingerie.

It's important as the recipient of such a gift to keep in mind that a guy may be saying he thinks you're the sexiest girl in the world and his gift is the only way he has of expressing that thought.  It may be some cheap item that you'd never pick for yourself, but he sees you as that sex goddess and feels you would rock it if you wore it.  That's a compliment in my book, don't turn it down. 

Also, relish the fact that your special someone lusts after you, that's a gift that not everyone has.  There are many relationships where that flame has long been extinguished.  It's much harder to get the flame going again than it is to keep it alive.  Sure he might be an idiot, and have poor taste in lingerie, but you've gotta give to get too.  Play along and see if you can turn him around to what you like. 

When the shoe is on the other foot, take a compliment as such and don't read an insult where there was none.  If he's a lingerie moron, make him your genius.  If he doesn't know enough to arrange that lingerie shopping trip, then you do it and bring him along.  Make it fun for him, remember a lot of guys are intimidated by lingerie stores.  I know that sounds stupid, but lingerie has powerful connotations to a man, just as much as they do for women, perhaps even more so.

Never spurn his gift of lingerie.  Find a way to gently let him know it's not your style, without hurting his feelings.  Let him know you appreciate his gift and that you find it wonderful that he thinks you're the sexiest girl in the world.  You know how fashion experts always tell you to buy at least one item that is out of your comfort range or style?  Try it on, you never know if you might end up liking it or the reaction he it gets out of him.

I don't know if any ladies will ever read these words, but if you do, I hope that I've helped you and maybe your relationship with that lingerie idiot of yours!

Gifts for your Sweetheart

Slippy over at Slip of a Girl blog recently posted some words of wisdom regarding the purchase of lingerie for Valentine's day.  It seems a poll she blogged about showed that NO women wanted to recieve lingerie for V day!  Wow, I found that to be pretty shocking.

Slippy implied that perhaps it was the giver that was the problem and perhaps the intent of the gift was being a selfish gesture and not a giving one.  I happen to feel that lingerie is in fact just as much a gift to the giver as to the recipient, but that doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing.  If you're a clueless or tactless man looking to spice up your lady's undie drawer, you can still give her lingerie, just pick out a gift certificate or even better make a date out of it and take her to the store in person.  Let her know how important she is to you by sharing the experience together.

The idea behind V day is to make your loved one feel, well, loved.  Of course she wants to know you think she's sexy, but she also wants to know you love and respect her as a person.  If you give her those things, there's no limit to how much better your relationship will be and to how much she will give back to you in return.

I remember giving some lingerie to a GF once for V day and not getting the reaction I thought I would.  Now I know she felt loved and respected by me.  I was madly in love with this girl in every way.  In that case it was a body identity thing and I think she felt that she wouldn't live up to my fantasy when she put it on, but she couldn't have been more wrong.

Lingerie can be a complicated gift because of all the unsaid things that go on in our heads.  We have certain ideas in our mind and they have theirs.  Best if both parties don't put too much thought into the gift and just enjoy it for what it is, a thoughtful present.  As I said earlier, if you want to play it safe, just get a gift certificate.

Going to the store together can be quite an adventure.  Most men seem uncomfortable in a lingerie store.  I think for many men, the thought of lingerie is so intertwined with sexual thoughts that they feel guilty or that other people will read their dirty minds when they venture into such a store.  My point here is that she might be aware of this fact and that you as a man are not comfortable in that type of store.  The fact that you're there with her will give you points.  She'll appreciate it, or should.

Let her lead the way as far as what she wants and you can help.  Tell her you think that one would look hot on her.  Help her pick out a color.  Keep in mind that her idea of racy, sexy or daring may be completely different than yours.  The idea is that she feels comfortable and then she'll feel sexy, so let her pick and choose what's right for her.  You can build up to more things you like in future shopping trips.  Make the experience fun and flirty for her and it'll be the same for you!

Charming!

Now that I've been around the block a few times, I've refined my shopping techniques a bit.  I always check the sale racks for discounted goodies.  I browse the regular stuff too, but I take my time at the sale rack because that is where you can often find some really good deals.  I try to be a lot pickier too now since I don't have as much room to store my intimates collection anymore, due to the massive amounts I've bought over the years.  As I've said in the past, I know for a fact that I own more panties and lingerie than most women do.  Many of the panties aren't made anymore, a sad thing.  Unlike many women, most of my panties were bought for aesthetic reasons and not with any practicality in mind.

Getting back to the shopping trip though.  So, on this day, I decided to blow off some steam and take advantage of some free time and hit the mall.  This was at a time of the day when the mall should have been not too busy.  There were still a lot of people there though, much to my surprise.  Maybe I'm getting old or something, but I definitely was thinking, shouldn't these girls be in school or something right now.  Anyway, the crowds were fairly light, so no big deal.  I don't get as nervous as I used to when I hit the lingerie stores or sections in the stores.  I still get a rush, but it's not like before where my heart would be pounding.

There was a guy who showed up at Frederick's and he looked real nervous.  He only looked for like a minute and went right up to the register.  He sounded very nervous too.  I wonder if what he bought was for himself.  He paid quickly and took off.  I bet that's what I used to look like too.

I found the bra pictured today at Macy's on the sale rack.  It's a "Charmed" brand by Maidenform.  I think it's really cute with it's leopard sin pattern and pink straps.  It also features some cute lacy accents around the tops of the cups and a faux ribbon lace tie at the front all in the same pink color as the straps.

The cups are lined with the dreaded foam, as this is a push up bra, my first of this type.  I thought I'd give it a shot and see if I liked it.  I don't despite really liking the looks of the bra overall.  I just don't like the feeling of the foam, it's rather unsensual in my opinion.  The bra does look cute under a t shirt though, but that wasn't my goal in buying this.  Well actually I take that back, I did want to see how it would look under clothes, and it does look cute.  The feeling of wearing it with that padding doesn't do it for me though, so I'll probably return it to the store (something I rarely do).

I will give a word of warning to those who may be interested in this bra, the sizing was a little tight for me compared to other bras I've tried.  Keep that in mind when you buy yours if you are like me and not brave enough to ask to try it on in the store.  I'd definitely say go up one strap size to be safe.

And the final fact about this bra is that it was $30 I think originally.  Compared to others I've seen that makes it on the average to cheap side for a name brand.  I think if I was in the market for such a bra, I'd find that to be a reasonable price.  I got it on sale though and it was marked down even further to $10!  What a bargain!  I wish I liked it more, because for that price it's cheap to keep, but given my lack of space, I can't be keeping items around for the heck of it, they must be something I'll enjoy wearing.

V Day

Hola Readers!  Valentine's Day is fast approaching.  Have you gotten your lady friend (or yourself) something sexy yet?

New Purchases

I've been celebrating some personal victories lately and I suppose the enthusiasm has spread to other sectors of my life, well, the horny sector anyway.  In that vein, I recently bought more lingerie.  I found a few cute bras on sale at Macy's and the really cute mini skirt with lace inserts on the sides that was featured here on Friday.  I also bought a couple of other items at Frederick's.  I'll be sharing those with you in the near future.

New Month, New Skirt

Hola Readers!  Ready for some Super Bowl weekend fun?  I sure am!  In preparation, I went shopping and bought myself a cute little micro skirt.  It's a pink satin material with a lacy insert on the hips that allows the viewer a nice peek through to the flesh beneath. 

On the front there's some cute lace stripes going vertically toward the waist.  The bottom edge is lightly ruffled, very cute.  It's made by Jezebel and is called the Promise skirt.  There are matching thongs, garter belts and bras as well which I didn't get.  One of these days, I'm gonna have to spring for a whole matching set!

I bought this on a whim.  I got off work early and was feeling rather horny and had just hit the ATM, a deadly combination for sure!  I went to the mall and looked at a couple of stores before I spotted this on the sale rack at Macy's.  It was marked down to $10 from $29, so it was a really good deal too.  I think it was the last one there though.  I did find that they still have them at Kohl's on line store, so if you want one, try there.  Better move on it though because if it was on closeout at one store it's probably going away from others too.
