End of the Month

Hello Readers. Can you believe it, the month is already almost over?! I've been pretty good with the posts this last month, with two every week. I'll try and keep it up if I can. I often think of things to write about, but by the time I get in here, the ideas have mysteriously vanished from my mind!

The panty of the day is a cotton full back bikini made by Partners for Mervyn's. These are a classic cut with a minimal string waistband and a semi low rise. They look great on the right butt! The elastic is holding up well after about 8 years of ownership. The color is quite exquisite, a purple-blue deep tone. Too bad they didn't make them in satin or nylon, I would have bought every color available!

I'm a sucker for a horror movie or TV show. That being said, I often see some great panty shots in the stuff I watch. On the TV show "Supernatural" the other day, there was a scene where one of the main characters is watching a pretty brunette girl in case her ex boyfriend shows up (he's a suspected werewolf). She doesn't like it, and brings her laundry out to fold right in front of his face. Of course it's a basket of satin panties! Wish I was him!

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Rock n Roll Baby!

Welcome Everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend. No, you haven't gone to the wrong blog, this is indeed your Badside. Not sure what made me think of posting this, but it popped in my mind the other day. This is a painting done by Robert Williams back in the 70's I think. Guns and Roses used it for their cover art on the Appetite For Destruction album. Apparently it caused such a stir that MTV refused to show any G n' R videos until they agreed to change the album cover to the now famous skull laden cross symbol (the flip side of the CD jacket). After all of that MTV agreed to play a G n R video at 2 AM, once only, but it became the most requested video of the time. MTV of course gave in and began showing all the G n R videos and the rest is history. So there you have it, panties that made history! Rock on!

You bought those where?

Welcome Everybody! The panty of the day is from a store that may not be the first place you'd think of when it comes to lingerie; JC Penny. These are very silky stretch nylon in a lustrous white. Look at the way they shine! They are a full cut as you can see. I bought these perhaps six or seven years back in a couple of different colors. I remember the middle aged sales lady giving me a funny look when I brought them up to the register. Not sure if these are still being made or sold there as I hardly ever make it over there any more. I do recommend these to you panty perverts as they are really quite well made and would make a great addition to your collections.

Now why did I choose that particular panty for today? Because I'm sending you to a link today to JC Penny. Yup, they have a new line of lingerie, that is a little more upscale or exciting (supposedly) than what they've sold in the past. Bravo to them for trying to bring in some shoppers to our favorite department in the store! The new line is called Ambrielle and can be found here: http://www.ambrielle.com/

I've actually been meaning to post that link for like a month, but I kept forgetting. Good to see stores putting some attention on lingerie, it means that panties must be important to the store or they wouldn't bother. Have a look and see if you like it. Thanks for coming by!

Spring is in the air

Welcome Panty fans! The panty of the day is for all you cotton panty lovers. This pair of sunflower yellow panties is a Partners store brand in 100 percent cotton. These panties are very comfortable and the cotton is pretty soft. The elastic is still stretchy after having been around for 7 or so years. These panties are close enough to the androgynous cut that I bet you could wear them and not raise much attention (except from your s/o hopefully).

Actually these panties remind me of a girlfriend I had in high school. Sometimes I'd take a shower at her parents place (they were always at work), and after, I'd wear her tank tops home. She had a few panties like these, which I may have worn too! I do remember her having a baby blue pair like these for sure, which at the time I thought were somewhat boring. I always wished she'd wear something more frilly for me.

Hope you all had a great weekend and didn't get too much of a hangover! I decided to catch a movie and some dinner with friends instead of doing the Irish Tavern thing on Saturday. Have been feeling extra randy this past week, maybe because it's almost spring again. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone! Oh yes, it's that time of the year when we're all Irish, no matter what land our ancestors came from. In the spirit of the holiday, I present to you this lovely lass clothed in only her green polyester Victoria's Secret panties. These can be bought from said store right now and are part of the Sexy Little Things collection. I don't personally own them, but I'm sure that they're great. St. Paddy's Day is a pretty big deal around here and given that it will fall on a Saturday, the streets will no doubt be overflowing with people who have put away a few extra. I used to be one of them, but somewhere along the line I started to get wise to the survival game. In other words, watch out for drunk drivers and angry drunks. So, go out and enjoy yourselves, but be careful and PLEASE get a ride if you get drunk.

Have a great weekend!

Weekend Update

Hey Everyone! Hope y'all had a great weekend! I found this picture and had to post it here at the Badside. Great panties if I do say so myself. I don't know the actual original source of this picture or the manufacturer of the panties, so the usual disclaimer and call for info both apply.

I was going to post something really serious today, but decided that I would rather keep things light hearted. The world can be screwed up enough without having to read about it here too. So on that note, I ask that you all think of something pleasant, close your eyes and imagine you are at your favorite spot, enjoying your favorite drink, your tunes are playing in the background, you're with that special someone and the two of you are laughing and having a great time! Ahhh! Ain't that the best!

A Scary Thought

Hello fellow panty fans! The panty of the day comes from the vast internet, a never ending well of erotic pictures and thought. As you can see, I must have some sort of fixation on this type of panty. Again, it's a ruffled full back panty, this time the ruffles are over a satin back panel. Very sexy in my opinion! I am at a loss as far as the maker of these beauties. If anyone knows, let us all know here at your bad side.

I was watching Law and Order SVU the other day. The episode was about Mariska Hargitay's character (Olivia Benson) finding her half brother. It turns out that her mother was raped and impregnated by this man's father. Since she's a cop, she checked into her brother's background and it turned out that he had been busted as a teenager for stealing women's lingerie from a store. The police were watching him for stalking women and breaking into their homes to steal panties. Actually, the local cops told her that he was suspected of breaking into women's homes and "taking things". When she asked what things were stolen, the other cop said something along the lines of "What else does a pervert take? Panties".

What disturbed me was that they connected this behavior to him being a rapist. Now, I know there is a big difference between someone who purposely breaks into women's homes and steals panties and a casual panty thief, who only may pilfer a pair if the opportunity comes by chance. Still, the thought that a cop would think of someone as a suspected rapist because of a panty theft is scary to me. I could just imagine some poor slob like me getting accused of being a rapist by the cops because he happened to pocket a pair of panties at the wrong time or place. I started keeping the receipts for my store bought panties a few years ago for just such a reason. I think if by some freak chance that a cop or someone found my panty collection, they'd assume all of them were stolen. My suggestion to you all out there is, keep those receipts from your purchases!
