Can you believe I don't have a garter belt? I have bustiers with and without suspenders, but not a simple belt, let alone a matching set.
Although I've generally had good luck with mail-order and so thank you for the tip, I do prefer shopping for ladies things in person. Even after all my shopping for self and others, I still never know how I'll react to the experience. Plus just being around all that finery. . . . Well I know everyone understands that.
JamieLin, I am shocked to hear that you don't have a garter belt! Promise me you'll go out and buy one soon, it's one piece of lingerie you should not be without and something you'll enjoy wearing immensely. Let us know what you buy, would love to see your selection(s).

Actually, I don't know when that might happen. They're just not my style I guess. Being a perfect size 5 below the waist, I obviously have no ass, which has served me well as a guy but's a horror as a gurl. I usually dress in Junior's apparel. That just doesn't go with the traditional lingerie.
I have however been contemplating whether corsetry might help. As much as I'd like a full corset because they're just sexy as hell, I'm thinking a waist cincher would be the practical item for me. I am not at all fat, it's just my waist flows right into my hips and onto my ass without curves. If I could cinch my waist and wear a little higher riding A-line skirt or dress, it might hide the absences down below.

Jamie Lin, If it's just the look you want under your clothes, they do make padded undies that add curves in all the right spots. If it's for when you're in your lingerie without clothes, then a waist cincher is certainly worth a try. It may be uncomfortably tight though, in order to have the desired effect.
Maybe I'll do a waist cincher review in the near future.

Thanks for the suggestions/advice. I've not read good reviews of the padding, not to mention that somehow I think that'd kill the thrill. I mean, it's the feel of the clothing that's really the most exciting for me. The difference in fit and fabric, and I still don't get it, but the first time I put on a skirt, the breeze and folds on my thighs. Well I was hooked.
As for the cincher, beauty is supposed to come at a price, isn't it?
