What's Old is New Again?

Bonjour Readers! I hope you all had a great weekend. Today I thought I'd take you back. How far back? WAY back, kickin' it old school with some granny panties. :^) Pictured above are some Hanes brief style panties in a lovely lavender color, which got kind of washed out in the pic. Anyway, these were some of the new ones I ordered from Fresh Pair and were part of a three pack. The other two are the same type and cut, but in different soft colors, (the pastel pack) to be revealed later. They do come in the classic white as well, in case you were wondering. These panties were very inexpensive, only about $10 for the three pack. The material itself is not as soft or smooth as more pricey nylon panties, definitely a step down. On the plus side, they do have some sparkle in the material which is a nice touch visually speaking. If you only need one granny for your collection, I'd say spend a little more and get another brand made of higher quality materials. If you are looking for a low priced panty that comes in some nice colors, these are a great deal though. They're really not bad at all, it's just that the others are a cut above.

PS: Not sure, but these panties may get softer after they've been washed a few times. I'll let you know either way.

Wow, I have not seen these panties for many many year..man, I sound old!
My Nanna used to have dozens of them in her old fashioned drawers.
She referred to them as "Scanty Panties" Some of them had lace trim on them, some were nylon, others were cotton.
She would hand wash them in Velvet Soap, rinse them out and hang them in the shade to dry, not in the Sun. She said the Sun would affect the material.
Very nice to see these again. :)

PM: Glad you like!

Cazzie: Thanks for the background story, would love to hear more. I'll have to look for some velvet soap!
