Super Soaker

Chikmaa Readers! How have you all been? I've missed you. I'm sure you've all been following the story of that oil leak down in the Gulf of Mexico, horrible stuff. So you're probably wondering what can be done and if there's a way we can help out. Well, it turns out there is a way for us to lend a helping hand. It seems that the crafty people at Matter of Trust have devised a device made of pantyhose, of all things, that can help capture and soak up some of the oil. Of course you wouldn't want to use those really expensive stockings you have, but if you have some old cheapo ones laying around or about to go in the garbage, why not send them out and help the cause? Here's a link to the You Tube video explaining how to make your own hair boom.

So true MmeFF! I saw Paul Mitchell on Larry King yesterday talking about making hair booms. He said they can reused over and over. Hope everyone encourages their stylists to send the waste cut hair to help with this.
