Hello Readers! How is your week going so far? I found a sale you all might be interested in over at Maidenform's own web site. They have a few nice things that I'd like to try, although after my recent binge, I shouldn't and won't be buying anything for a while. Pictured above are a few of the things I found in the sale section. I own a few Maidenform items that I like a lot, although I also own some older things that the elastic has gone out on and had to be retired. The elastic thing may have been my fault as I seem to recall tumble drying them on low heat in a machine, which may have been bad for them. It was a real tragedy because they don't make those panties anymore and I really liked them a lot. I'll try and get a picture of them posted sometime so you can see what they looked like. I had three pair, one each in white, black and pink.

Rebound

Hola Readers! It's been a while, no? I hope all of you have been doing well. I decided to remove my last post because, even though it explained a lot, it also wasn't really fitting in the theme of this blog. Thank you all who wrote and sent support, it was sorely needed and I appreciate it greatly. I'll be trying to get back into the swing of things around here again, so please come by and look for some upcoming panty reviews and such.

Well, after having not had much libido the past few weeks, it seems to have rebounded very strongly, explosively in fact. In fact I went on a lingerie buying spree/binge, the results of which you'll be seeing in the next few postings.

I took a day off, and went shopping early. I hit Frederick's of Hollywood, Victoria's Secret, Forever 21, Sears, JC Penny, Kohl's and Target. Even in my extreme horniness, I tried to choose things that were totally new to my collection and not redundant. I bought a few things at Frederick's, JCP and Kohl's and would have bought a few at Forever 21, but they were out of the ones I liked. I've got to tell you, Forever 21 really has some cute things, clothes and lingerie. If you're looking for some cute tops or skirts, give them a look.

JCP had a sale on my favorite grannies, the Vanity Fair Perfectly Yours briefs, 3 for $11 something. That's the lowest price I've seen for those, so I couldn't resist and picked up a few (breaking my redundancy rule). I wanted to get different colors, but they were mostly sold out in my size, so I was forced to get an extra white one, which is OK, because that's my favorite color in these anyway.

Pictured above is a ruffled back, skirted, satin and lace garter panty I bought at Frederick's. It was on sale for $12.50 (actually 2 for 25) and well worth the price in my opinion. I'll show you what the other half of my $25 got me in a future post. I think these are super cute and ultra feminine and they feel great when wearing them. They were a bit hard to photograph, but you can make out the flower pattern in the skirt material. The garter straps are removable, which is great for washing or if you want to wear them as panties without stockings. There are little white satin bows at both the front and rear centers of the waistband, something I always like to see. The front of the panty is a chiffon like material and the back is ruffled in a full cut that accentuates the derriere nicely.

As these are a sale item, I suggest you get on down to Frederick's ASAP if you want a pair (or two) of these. Just to note, they are a bright white color, almost silver, they're so bright, very pretty, the back shot is a better representation of the actual color. Also, they come from the bridal collection, so you might want to look there if you don't see it elsewhere in the store.

Full Brief Blog is a fairly new one. So far the blog has featured movie references where a lingerie lover may find some panty shots on film. It's just starting out, but I've found the site to be very interesting and informative so far. Give him a helping hand and take a look.

Chikmaa Readers! How have you all been? I've missed you. I'm sure you've all been following the story of that oil leak down in the Gulf of Mexico, horrible stuff. So you're probably wondering what can be done and if there's a way we can help out. Well, it turns out there is a way for us to lend a helping hand. It seems that the crafty people at Matter of Trust have devised a device made of pantyhose, of all things, that can help capture and soak up some of the oil. Of course you wouldn't want to use those really expensive stockings you have, but if you have some old cheapo ones laying around or about to go in the garbage, why not send them out and help the cause? E Ku Ale Readers! I was browsing over at Amazon recently and came across the above pictured book. Of course that cover shot caught my eye and reminded me of many of Panty Maven's posts. The publisher Taschen seems to specialize in erotic literature and photography books. I own some of their other works which are of good quality, although one book did have pages that were stuck together where the ink hadn't fully dried. It doesn't look good when your guests are thumbing through your erotic coffee table book and some of the pages seem to have been stuck together at some point! ;^P Awful isn't it, but the book came in shrink wrap plastic, so I'm quite certain it was new when I received it.

I do find it interesting that they chose an image of panties on a clothes line to capture the essence of a book filled with erotic pictures. That's really saying a lot when you think about it. Panties must have a very powerful meaning to the erotic centers of our brains. Perhaps it's like in real life, when a couple comes together and the panties are like a fine wrapping paper separating a wonderful gift from your eyes and hands. I suppose in that light, panties would make perfect sense as a cover shot for this book.

Rabecca's Secret

Mija Readers! I'm afraid I have a bit of bad news for you today. In the past I have written about Rabecca's Secret and Panty Belles, two sites run by the same couple which featured mainly pictures of the wife, Rabecca. As you can see from the pictures above, she is a stunningly gorgeous blond who modeled various full cut satin and nylon panties.

Rabecca's Secret has been gone for a while, and I had assumed that Panty Belles would continue on in it's place, but sadly it too has disappeared from the web. Monday Panty Review

Buokaye Readers! How was your weekend? Did you get nice and relaxed? I thought a panty review would be a great way to kick off the week!

Featured above is yet another of my newer VS panties. These lovelies come from the Intimissimi line. The material used on these is very nice; smooth and soft with a beautiful shimmer to it. The feeling against the flesh is exquisite. The cut is semi low rise, yet full in back, almost a tap or boy short in style. I've put on a few pounds recently, but they still seem just a tad snug for their size in my opinion.

A seam runs up the center of the back panel, very nice design element which accentuates that area well. Matching colored lace runs from the outer hips down around the leg openings. Where the lace meets the waistband at either side, the two sides join as it follows the edges of the front and back panels forming a little lace flap overlap at either hip and giving them a more sheer and light appearance.

The waistband is gathered and has a nice rippled pattern to it and is pinch sewn at it's base in such a way as it creates a very cute crease and distinct separation between waistband and body sections. Lastly, there is the signature VS bow at the front of the waistband accented nicely with a tiny sparkly crystal making the whole piece so irresistibly feminine and cute. To my eye they have a Victorian or old fashioned look to them that I find pleasing. I apologize for the wrinkliness of the panties in the pics, but I basically just pulled these out of my drawer and took pics of them, no time for ironing.

One last thing to note is that coming from the Intimissimi line of lingerie, they have the long info tags inside which stick out during wear if one is not careful. Most likely they're meant to be trimmed or removed all together, but I like to keep the tags on mine, so it can be a problem when walking about in public. I have a few panties from this line and they all seem to share that trait with each other. Not a big deal, but I thought it worth mentioning. Oh, and also of note, the crystal can occasionally get caught up on the inside of your pants if there is anything there to grab. This happened to me a couple of times when it got entangled with a loose string on the waistband of my cotton pants. Not the panty's fault at all mind you, but again something I thought you might want to know.

All in all, I really love these panties from both design and comfort aspects. As far as I know they should still be in stores near you, although they have been around a little while, so you might want to get down there fast if you want them.

Hey Buddy...The Bird's Up There!

Nangga Readers! As some of you already know, I like erotica both new and old. I have a few old magazines that date back as far as the 70's. Some even have black and white pictures in them, something I doubt you'd see nowdays. Anyway, it's really interesting to look at those old magazines and see what the norm was back in those days. They're kind of a documentation of the sexuality of their time period. You see women (and men) with full on pubic hair, that's one of the main things that's changed a lot. The pics are more explicit now I think, although I wouldn't say that much more so that it's shocking in any way. Also, the hair styles and clothes are something that stand out as well, then again, lots of that is coming back too. If there are any panties, it's never a thong, mostly you see nylon grannies or bikini style. I just love the way they look, hugging and framing those feminine curves so beautifully.

I was cruising the web the other day and came across the above pictured magazine for sale. I think the ad said it dates from the late 50's. I can't help but wonder what the pics are like inside. That cover is hilarious to me. Wouldn't you just love to have this for your coffee table or to frame for the guest bathroom or something? What really kind of shocked me was the fact that Swank magazine had been around so long.

Funny Undies

Demat Readers! How are you all doing? I've been a fan of Fox's animated shows for some time now, probably because they seem to hold no person or thing sacred. Family Guy is especially devious and twisted. Yes, they do push the envelope on decency and good taste, but being a deviant person myself, I just love it.

Another favorite of mine is American Dad, which follows an uptight suburban character and his family through various comical adventures. Hmm, could I have made it sound less funny! LOL! Anyway, if you've never seen it I encourage you to tune in and watch, very funny stuff. The wife of the main character (Stan Smith) is named Francine; that's her pictured above. I'll admit to having a little cartoon crush on her, she's such a cutie! ;^)

As I've stated in the past, I think someone over at Fox has a thing for panties because this past weekend's episode featured a little Francine panty flash. It happened so quickly that I barely caught it, but luckily I did, as I was able to go back with the slo mo and verify what I'd thought I'd seen. They even included a little camel toe! Leh Readers! Did you get your taxes done yet? Still got one more day. Maybe you need some music to listen to while crunching those numbers. I was browsing some music online recently when the cover art that you see above caught my eye for obvious reasons. That's classic rock band Roxy Music's "Country Life" album if you didn't already know. I listened to the samples, but it wasn't really for me, although I'd dang near buy it just for that cover! Somehow I doubt today's artists are daring enough to feature such a bold cover, too controversial. Let that thought soak in. Props to the band for selecting such an image to represent their work. The bra and panties are exquisite, so sheer and lacy you can clearly see what's underneath, love it!

Aupa Readers! How are you this fine Friday? Ready for some weekend fun? I know I am, but let's see if the weather will agree. I finally got around to resnapping some of those panty pics I mentioned previously. Pictured today is the first fruits of that labor.

What you are seeing is a garter panty from VS. I absolutely love the way these look, but the material is slightly hard or stiff and not quite as smooth as I'd expected. It's not coarse in any way, just not as satiny and smooth as I thought it would be. Also, the animal print is very cute but is of a lower quality than I've become accustomed to from VS. It's hard to describe, but I think when you find a really good print, it's often hard to distinguish that the pattern is a print at all when viewed up close. With this it seems kind of obvious, although this may have been intentional, I don't know. It's not bad at all, just not what I was expecting given some of the other animal print things I own from VS. Come to think of it, it may actually be the pattern itself that causes this effect, I don't know, it's still cute, just could have been executed slightly better.

On to build quality next, which to my eye and hand seems very good. The panties are cut very low on the waist, can you say LOW rider? Depending on your backside this may give a spectacular view to your audience. The garter straps are well constructed having nice metal clips and are removable, a feature I like when executed correctly as they are here. Sometimes removable garter straps have loops that are too loose and the straps can come off unintentionally, but in this case they hang on nice and tight.

Lastly, let's focus on some of those lovely details I've come to look forward to from VS. I like the lacy sections which are very soft, the floral edging around the waist and leg opening and the ruched back panel. Next, we have the cute little bejeweled waistband bow. I really like that as it just makes the whole thing pop, it's just an extra little something that makes these even cuter. And on top of that they even put a cluster of stick on amber colored rhinestones spelling out VS on the front left lower hip area, SO cute.

I bought these babies on sale so there's a good chance you won't find them if you go looking, sorry. The panties themselves seem to run a bit small in sizing, so keep that in mind if and when you buy yours. I do recommend them if you happen to find them, I doubt you'll be disappointed!

The Stepfather

Kamusta Readers! Hey look who got in another post...just for you! ;^) Actually, I wanted to tell you all about a movie I watched recently, "The Stepfather". It's a thriller in the "Disturbia" vein of films, slightly juvenile, yet entertaining none the less (if not overly so). So why am I mentioning it here? Well silly, because there were a couple of scenes featuring the very lovely Amber Heard (pictured for your viewing pleasure above), in her tiny little nickers or bikinis. Oh how I love a well filmed panty, lingerie or swimsuit scene! Anyway, didn't love or hate the movie, your results may vary, but if you just happen to be bored one eve and need a movie to watch, have a look at this one.

Ruffled Panty Review

Yoga Noi Readers! How are you all? I finally got around to getting the pics ready for the review of those panties I posted a while back. You remember them, the chiffon ruffled ones? In case it's still not ringing a bell, they're a lavender purple pink color, made by VS.

Let's start with the chiffon material, which is a little stiff, but in a good way that makes them feel as though the fabric is strong and well made. The see through factor is just enough to reveal a glimpse of what's underneath, but without giving away too much. The cut is very cute and low rise on the hips. The detailing is wonderful, with the cute little ruffles on the back side, a pretty bow on the front hip area and a tiny and very cute mini bow at the back waistband on the inside, a nice extra touch that no one would ever see while it's being worn. Apologies on the color in the pics, but the lighting wasn't right when I took these (part of the reason for the long delay in this post). In reality the panties are much closer in color to the VS stock photo.

Unfortunately, they are no longer available, but perhaps you may be able to find a pair in your local store if you're lucky enough. If so, I'd recommend getting them, as I love mine and I feel they make a great addition to my little lingerie collection. I have other lingerie in the wings ready to be reviewed, but I'm debating whether I should do a reshoot of the photos or not, since they were also photographed at the same time as these were.

Hooters!

Yaa Readers! How was your weekend? Did we have a hard time getting up after losing an hour? Hate that, especially since I tend to be a night owl. Last weekend I went to Hooter's with some friends. This is only the third time I've stepped foot in said establishment. The first time was for a friend's birthday and he just wanted to go by and get some snack type food and beer. I wasn't impressed. In fact, I've always thought Hooter's was great in concept, but the reality was a little cheesey and maybe desperate, sort of like a strip club as well, except you get to see even less skin. That night there weren't many girls working and the atmosphere was rather lifeless.

The last two excursions I've taken to the big H have been on another level completely. The place was on hit and crawling with pretty girls, each one hotter than the last! The food there is actually decent to pretty good too. I had a Mahi fish sandwich (hey, trying to be healthy here) and it was very tasty and juicy (mahi is SO easy to overcook). Anyway, maybe it's just me who has changed, but I now find the place to be the Chucky Cheese of adult males. There's tons of big screens to watch the various sporting events, a variety of cold beers, cute friendly waitresses and decent food. If I lived closer, I'd probably go there more often! It's all harmless fun, where a guy can go and see pretty girls and eat unhealthy food and drink. If you've never been, I suggest going on a busy night when there are lots of people working, lots to see! It's actually fun for ladies too, I once dated a girl who was always trying to get me down to Hooters to visit with her GFs who worked there...why the heck we never got around to it is a mystery to me, especially now!

Green Day

Dia Dhuit Readers! And how are my fine friends doing? I was down with a cold and frankly feeling a bit lazy and uninspired, thus my lack of postings as of late. I shall try to get in here more often, but it seems my time is spread very thin now days.

Pictured today is the special Saint Paddy's Day edition of Mr Limpy and a Fleshlight, both in lovely emerald green! Not sure if that green color really does it for me, but it does look like fun. Of course the two pantied be-hinds are quite lovely to look at as well. I loves me some ruffles!

Ice Queen

Ezender Readers! How are you all doing? Sorry for my recent absence, I've been spread a little thin lately and with the Olympics on TV, it seems most my spare time has been zapped. I did get a chance to watch the movie "Whiteout" the other day. No, it's not about corrective typing fluids (if you don't know what a typewriter is, you shouldn't be reading this blog for a few years). ;^P The film is about a female federal marshal stationed at Antarctica who must investigate a murder. Of course the marshal happens to be drop dead gorgeous and played by Kate Beckinsale. The reason I mention this film is that right in the first few minutes of the film, we get a wonderful strip down shower scene of lovely Kate in her white panties and bra. To say her body looks spectacular is an understatement. Anyway, the movie itself is just so so, I didn't hate it, but I also thought it could have been better. Maybe save watching it for a hot summer day when you need cooling down, or on second thought maybe watching it on a cold winters night might enhance it and make you feel closer to the action. Funny, I did a little digging and saw some references to Kate using a body double in this movie, but clearly she didn't use one or need it. Insatiable Again

Ahalan Readers! Not beat a dead horse with and old shoe, but as many of you know, my favorite porn actress is/was Marilyn Chambers. Of all her movies, I'd have to say that Insatiable was her finest and is a big part of why I adore her. If you asked me what porno movie I'd pick if I were stranded on a desert island and could only have one, this would be it. In fact, I've actually bought this movie a few times in various formats, the latest being the 30th Anniversary Edition on DVD (pictured above).

Like so many things, it seems even porno movies were made better in the olden days. This one was shot on film and had an obvious big budget feel to it, what with the helicopter, mansion, Ferrari, Rolls Royce and location shots in London. I found this version on a fluke and knee jerk ordered it on the spot. Shortly after, I began to wonder if I'd just thrown my money down the toilet since I already have a DVD of this same movie. What sold me was that it said it was remastered and had some extras I'd never seen before. I tried doing some research after the fact (I know, I know, should've done that first), but couldn't find any useful information about this new release (from the Dynasty Group).

The DVD came pretty quickly in the mail and I popped it in as soon as I had a chance. The first thing I noticed was that the menus were completely different than those of my old copy, a good sign perhaps? When I played the actual movie, to my delight (and relief), I found this version vastly superior to any I'd ever seen. The picture has been brightened and cleaned up considerably compared to the old DVD version. In every iteration of this movie that I can recall ever seeing, there are some scenes that were so dark that you couldn't really see everything that was happening. In this remaster, I could see detail that I never knew existed. All that time, I thought it was the director's intent to hide things in shadow for effect! My only complaint is that they may have gone too far in trying to sharpen the picture as it sometimes has a slight posterized look. Also, strangely they didn't clean all the scratches and such from the film. The sound is quite good, although to my ear, not as far of a jump ahead as the picture quality is.

In addition to the clean up and sound enhancements, they've also added an extra commentary track with Marilyn and a female interviewer watching the film together. This is in addition to the original commentary from the old DVD with Gloria Leonard. I know what you're thinking, who the heck wants to hear some commentary while watching a porn flick, right? Wrong, for fans of this film, it's great to hear what people who were there at the time have to say about the film, especially now that Marilyn is gone and we can never ask her ourselves. In speaking of the famous pool table scene, she tells us that it was a fantasy come true and that anytime she needed to fantasize, that scene would be what she thought of. WOW, I can't tell you how incredibly hot that scene is, but knowing that just makes it all the hotter! The commentary also gives you great insight into the woman that was Marilyn Chambers as she is very open about talking about her personal life, very interesting stuff.

I actually think the commentary track alone is worth the upgrade price, but with the cleaned up video it's all the more worth while. You also get a nice extra of Marilyn at the premiere of the movie in LA back in the day wearing Daisy Dukes that are beyond short with no undies on under them (maybe the same ones on the poster?). If you decide to purchase this, make sure you get the Dynasty Group 30th Anniversary version, as the old version is still around. Also note that the copy I got is only one disc, and it was advertised as being a two disc set (another reason I took a chance on it), so there may actually be a two disc set out there as well. If you want it, try a certain site that rhymes with P-Day, I've seen it there cheaper than anywhere else.

A Hand to Hold

Hola Readers. I'm afraid today's post is not so much fun. It seems that our good friend and fellow blogger at Slip of a Girl is in need of some assistance. Another victim of the sad state of our economy right now. I won't get into my theories of how and why we as a country are in such hot water or how to get out, that's not what this blog is about. I will say that we do need to reach out and help others now more than ever. Take a look at her most recent post and please try and lend a hand, if not financially then spiritually. I think she could use a good virtual hug right now. I would imagine anything would help right now, so if you can spare it please do. Let's hope she's back on her feet soon so she can concentrate on the silkier things in life! :^)

JamieLin has brought to my attention in her latest post (welcome back JL ;^) ) that the owner of the Satin and Lace Blog has put out a call for pictures of her fans wearing purple panties. So with that in mind I'm posting the first pic of me in a long time. Yes, that's my lil' hiny pictured above carefully wrapped in a pair of VS lavender chiffon ruffle panties. I'll be reviewing those panties in an upcoming installment BTW. So, now I'm gonna throw out an addition to the S and L Blog request and add that any of my readers who want to participate in what I'll call "Post Pics of Your Purple Panties (PPYPP)" please do so as well. Sexy Fiber?

Lakeung e eu Readers! You may have seen some ads in the last few months that are clearly taking things to a new sexier level. The ads are for Benefiber of all products, but sexy as heck. I'm serious! The first one is the US version and the other two I guess are shown elsewhere. All are similar in concept and execution, very tasteful yet sexy. Oh and for my lingerie tie in, I'm pretty sure the lady narrating the US commercial is the same one who does the voice work for the VS ads. The feather top in the last one is SO cute, love it!

Public Enemies

Pujamik Readers! Have any of you seen the movie "Public Enemies" starring Johnny Depp as famous bank robber Dillinger? I missed it in the theaters but managed to rent it recently and was not let down. This is a Michael Mann film and if you're familiar with his past films such as "Heat" you will recognize his style. The film makers went through a lot of trouble to put the actors in authentic surroundings, including the actual jail that Dillinger was in and an actual resort where he stayed.

Pictured above is Mr Depp's lovely costar Marion Cotillard who plays Billie Frechette, the love interest. Not to reveal myself as the shallow hornball that I am, but after watching the trailers for this movie in the theaters, I was left wondering why they had picked Cotillard as the leading lady. To put it mildly, from what I had seen, I didn't find her to be attractive enough to pull off that roll. Boy was I mistaken. She definitely has a sexiness that grows on you the more you look at her. She is obviously intelligent, which can be sexy in anyone, but especially so in her. She also has a playful side to her as you can see from her lingerie pic. I spotted the picture of her in the white dress in an article about this year's SAG awards and just had to post it here. Mann was so right to cast her as she has a certain old fashioned charm and sultriness to her that fit the time period of the film to the letter.

Hot Coffee Outrage

Om Swastyastu Readers! How is your weekend going? I was doing a quick scan of the internetz and found this little gem (http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=5764397n&tag=api) over at the CBS site of all places (sorry had to make it copy n paste). People love a good lingerie story don't they?

The short version is that a drive up coffee shack in Bellevue, Washington is featuring scantily clad ladies who serve up the hot frothy beverages. The local residents are up in arms and want the place shut down. I just don't understand what the F is so offensive about this business. It's not like someone couldn't go to the beach and see exactly the same thing or better for freebees and not even have to buy coffee at all. And it's not like the ladies are walking the streets (or even parking lot in this case) in their unmentionables. Even better, the clients can only drive through, so they can't even really sit there and ogle the ladies at all. I'm sure the prudes will find some way of shutting the operation down after which they'll go home and guzzle some hard liquor, snort coke, pop some pills or do whatever else they do at home while telling their kids not to have sex until they get married and don't do drugs. Get a life people and let other people enjoy theirs the way they want, not how YOU want them to.

Ironically, I would bet the people protesting are the biggest pervos of all since they obviously find it so highly sexual that they feel the need to get a mob together and march down to city hall. Here's another article covering the same story.

BTW, the red polka dot bra and matching skirted garter thong the first girl on the video is wearing is from VS. I have the thong and I just love it, look for it in a later review.
