Summer is the Season!

Welcome Everyone! Sorry for the recent lapse in my posting schedule. I've been trying to keep up with at least two per week, but last week and the beginning of this one, I had quite a bit of serious stuff to deal with. I actually pulled an all nighter on Monday night trying to get the latest phase of this project completed. Haven't done that since the good old college days!

Summer is festival and street fair time around here. There's at least one if not more of these every weekend around town. I usually hit certain ones every year with my friends. This year I missed one of my faves, but attended a new one (to me anyway) about two weeks ago. The sun had come out and the weather was spectacular, sunny and warm, but not overwhelming or too hot. We grabbed some food and people watched (well, mostly girl watched) while sitting on the grass soaking up some rays. There were just tons of lovelies out that day. It's really amazing how the sun seems to bring them out! Got to see tons of eye candy. Lots of VPL and DP's to see!

The panty of the day is a Hilliard and Hanson brand. These are cotton string thongs/ G-strings. I liked the lacy detailing and cute little bow, plus the baby blue color is a turn on for me. On the right butt, the G-string can be quite tantalizing. The small triangular piece of material at the top of the back waistband is a nice way to accent the back side. I bought these about 6 years ago and they are holding up very well, with stretchy elastic. The cotton is a little on the hard side, but other than that, no complaints here. It's Friday!

Hola readers! Did ya think I'd let you escape the week without one more update? Ye of little faith! ;^) Pictured for you today is a lovely ivory colored, string bikini cut panty made by Frederick's of Hollywood. These charming panties feature a full back panel connected to the front by two thin elastic straps. The panties are made of a nylon blend and are quite light feeling in weight. As you can see in the detail shot, there are pretty little flowers in the fabric. I bought these, I would guess, maybe 10 years ago, so I doubt they have them around anymore. In fact I've been to the local FOH and they don't even seem to have this style/cut of panty anymore. A shame really, as I would have considered these to be a staple item. If ya see some for sale, buy 'em!

Don't know if it's the warm weather or what, but I've been extra frisky lately. The hotter it gets, the more revealing the clothes get too. I'm sure that helps! I rented the movie, "Code Name: The Cleaner" the other day. It's a comedy starring Cedric the Entertainer. He was quite good in it, funny stuff without being raunchy at all. I think a lot of comedians try to be over the top for shock value, so I appreciate it if someone can make me laugh without having to go in the gutter (although that kind of humor can be amusing as well-sometimes). Anyway, you probably already guessed that this movie does include a panty scene. We are treated to Nicolette Sheridan in a very lovely pink bra and tanga set. Another Movie Reference

Hola Readers! The panty of the day is a soft cotton bikini in a classic string cut. As you can see the front and back panels are printed in a very cute plaid pattern and surrounded by white elastic piping. The waistband is just a string joining the front and back. These are a good panty to go with for a phase two of introducing your loved one to you wearing panties. I watched a terrific film over the weekend called "The Dead Girl". I know, that's not the sort of title that brings thoughts of panties or sex to mind. The movie is however superbly acted and includes some of the heavy hitters in the acting world including Marcia Gay Harden, Toni Collette, Giovanni Ribisi and Rose Byrne to name a few. It's one of those films that has overlying stories where the characters are connected through a commonality. I won't say more than that as I wouldn't want to ruin it for you. The reason I mention it here though is that there is a scene where we encounter a panty (and other items) collector. Unfortunately, the guy is to say the least, a creep and weirdo and that's putting it mildly. It's too bad because this sort of thing reinforces the stereotype that all panty enthusiasts are perverts or worse. I sure wouldn't want to be categorized with the likes of him! The characters are so real that you'd imagine the guy would really be like that if he was an actual person, so in that respect, I have to give the writer/ director Karen Moncrieff credit for doing a fantastic job. Maybe next time she can make the panty guy a lovable character?

Street Fair

Howdy Readers! How was your weekend? Too short you say? Well here's a little pick me up for ya, a lovely satin panty made by my old pals at Frederick's of Hollywood. I don't know what happened or how it started, but I've somehow become hooked on it. The show is a lot of fun to watch from several aspects. One is that you get to see the celebrities learning and facing some adversity and so you get an idea of their true personalities. You can watch some really athletic dancing, some of which is just amazing considering the short learning curve they face. One of the nicest benefits of watching the show, is that you get to see some really beautiful ladies in outrageously hot outfits. There's a lot of great panty shots, practically guaranteed every week. A Good Place to Start

Hola Readers! Wow, did this week fly by or what? I was meaning to post here a few days ago but never got a chance. At any rate, getting back on topic, if you men out there want to bring some panty play into your bedroom, I suggest doing it at the proper time and place, and choosing a panty that is NOT too feminine, lest you freak out your loved one. Maybe a plain full back bikini similar to today's panty would be a good place to start. Also, you might want to think about doing some crunches and push ups for a month or two so you can look your sexiest for her. Chances are if she's turned on by the sight of your body, then you have an opening to introduce your kinky new fetish to her.

Movie Mistake

The Sun is Coming Out

Howdy Readers! Congrats! You made it past "hump" day and now you're in the home stretch for the weekend. This week went by pretty fast for some reason. My First Movie Review

Hola Loyal Readers! Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was pretty good, had some dinner with some long time friends. Sometimes it's nice to get together and remember the good old days which seem to have passed by too quickly. When I was in school, I always thought how great it was going to be to graduate so I wouldn't have tests to worry about. Ha! How I long for those simpler times!


Speaking of old times gone by, today I've decided to review an old adult film. This movie was made back in the early 80's long before it was legal for me to have even seen it! Of course legality never stopped an industrious youth such as me from doing anything! My friends and I would get our adult movies and magazines from who knows where, most likely older brothers and such. Way back in the olden days, when movies were on video tapes, they used to put trailers for the movies on the tapes. Later they replaced the trailers with phone sex ads. Anyway, my buddy lent me some pornos and I remember seeing the trailer for this movie "Bad Girls". For some reason, even though it was old, the movie really looked hot to me. Well, years later I remembered it and actually was able to find it on DVD. So, I did what any red blooded man would do and rented it. The following is my take on it.

As I mentioned earlier, the movie is old, from the early 80's. This is a good thing. Why, you ask? It's good because the makers of the film were actually trying to make a film and not just a bunch of fornication. That's right, there is actually a story line.

The movie starts with three gorgeous ladies getting ready in their own homes for a camping trip. I just love watching a woman getting dressed, there's something very feminine and erotic about it, and we get to see some of the girls getting ready. One girl is at work, where she is a professional photographer and model. On this day she is being photographed and is posing for the camera. The guy taking the pictures gets turned on and won't let her leave until she lets him take more pictures. She reluctantly agrees and he instructs her to unbutton her blouse and show her breasts. Then he has her lift her skirt and show her garter belt and panties (very lovely white nylon string bikinis). Then he tells her to reach into her panties and play with herself. Next he has her remove her panties, but she does it too quickly and he stops her mid thigh. She pulls them back up and he has her sit down. She has her long legs out and her skirt up and she slowly pulls down her panties (he actually tells her to linger). Then she reveals her trimmed, but not shaven womanhood, very sexy. Of course the poor bastard can't take it anymore and soon they're going at it. He strokes her long neck as they make hot monkey love on the bed. I don't normally think too much about necks, but hers is just exquisite, beautiful and feminine.

In the next scene the girls are in the camper driving in the woods. They come across a young boy scout and pick him up. This guy actually looks like a teenager (he says he's 16 in the movie). They'd never get away with this in a new movie because people would get bent, but man when I was that age, I would have given my left arm to be in that situation, surrounded by four beautiful women. Once in the camper, one of the girls teases the poor kid by asking him questions like "do you think I'm pretty?" and showing him her panties and what's underneath. The guy is scared shitless and she knows it. She asks him if he wants to touch her and right as he's about to, she slaps his hand away and says, "isn't this where you're supposed to get dropped off?" The girl's teasing is very well done.

In another scene we have one of the girls playing with herself through her panties in a hammock. She ventures into the woods to find the stranger in the woods who takes her like a savage. She loves it!

Later in the movie, the big brother of the scout has the same teaser girl captive. She teases him too, pulling up her skirt and revealing her white nylon bikini panties with little flowers in the fabric.

These are just the panty related scenes, there is other stuff in there too.

I guess you can tell I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. The production values are really very good. The acting leaves something to be desired, but the ladies are very pretty and they are easy on the eyes. This film was actually made on real film and not video tape, so it has a much better look to it than what most people are used to seeing. I recommend you have a look if you get a chance. Oh, BTW, I don't think the girl in the red bikini is even in the movie, or at least I don't remember seeing her.

Anyway, I thought it was pretty interesting that panties were being targeted by thieves over other products. The news was really selling the story in the teasers before each commercial break too. The material has a nice sheen to it with a hint of sparkle that you can't really see in the picture. End of the Month

Hello Readers. Can you believe it, the month is already almost over?! I've been pretty good with the posts this last month, with two every week. I'll try and keep it up if I can. I often think of things to write about, but by the time I get in here, the ideas have mysteriously vanished from my mind!

The elastic is holding up well after about 8 years of ownership. The color is quite exquisite, a purple-blue deep tone. Too bad they didn't make them in satin or nylon, I would have bought every color available!

I'm a sucker for a horror movie or TV show. That being said, I often see some great panty shots in the stuff I watch. Rock n Roll Baby!

Welcome Everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend. No, you haven't gone to the wrong blog, this is indeed your Badside. Not sure what made me think of posting this, but it popped in my mind the other day. This is a painting done by Robert Williams back in the 70's I think. Guns and Roses used it for their cover art on the Appetite For Destruction album. Apparently it caused such a stir that MTV refused to show any G n' R videos until they agreed to change the album cover to the now famous skull laden cross symbol (the flip side of the CD jacket). After all of that MTV agreed to play a G n R video at 2 AM, once only, but it became the most requested video of the time. MTV of course gave in and began showing all the G n R videos and the rest is history. So there you have it, panties that made history! Rock on!
